The General Council of the church, in a tribute, said Rev. Frimpong Boateng demonstrated real love and passion for the flock who were placed in his care throughout his service. “A true soldier of the State and of the Lord’s vineyard. He was a true burden-bearer, cheer-leader, hilarious but diligent, visionary and dedicated. A gracious marriage counselor with gentle inter-personal skills. All those who knew you before your demise, agree that you performed your duties with tact and alacrity. He comes around as a strong leader who will stand his grounds to put church members and pastors to order. This is the man whose remains have been laid-in-state before us today.
