The Regional Council is the highest decision and policy-making body of the church in the administrative region. The Regional Council has a function to formulate policies provided that such policy does conflict with policies laid down by the General Council. The Regional Council also has the power to create new districts when necessary except that no District should have more than fifteen (15) churches.
The Regional Council meets annually as determined by the Executive Committee. Members of the Regional Council are notified of the date and venue at least 30days before such meeting. Two-thirds (2/3) of the Regional Council members or Executive Committee members shall also request to convene extraordinary meetings. Resolutions which need to be moved at the Regional Council meeting must be submitted to the Secretary not later than 7 days before the Council meeting.
Members of the Regional Council consist of all Ordained ministers, Licentiates and Exhorters who hold valid fellowship certificates with the church. The rest of the members include: all expatriate missionaries recognized by the General Council; A voting delegate, shall be a laity from each local church or group of churches who hold a letter from that local church or group of churches signed by the Pastor and the Church Secretary identifying him/her as the official delegate; and regional departmental directors.
The Executive Committee (EC) comprising the Regional Superintendent, Secretary, Treasurer, District Pastors and the General Superintendent as an ex-officio member, supervise the activities of the churches among other functions in the region.
