The Local Church consists of the group of adherents to the Church who regularly meet for worship under the leadership of an accredited worker of the Regional Council or any approved leader. Every Local Church remains an Assembly of the Church and is subject to the constitution of AG Ghana. Each Local Church is self-governing, self-propagating and self-supporting under the local church Pastor, accredited worker or an approved leader. The Local Church is also subject to the general directions of the Executive Presbytery especially in all matters of scriptural doctrine, practice and conduct.

The Church Board is the highest decision-making body of the Local Church and membership of this board includes the Pastor-in-Charge as the Chairman or Chairperson, the Senior Associate Pastor, Deacons and Deaconesses. The Church Board is the policy-implementation body of the Local Church as well as the disciplinary body. The Church Board meets at least once every month at a time and place determined by the Pastor. Members are notified at least one week before a meeting and members who fail to attend meetings without just cause are reprimanded by the Board.  Two-thirds (2/3) of the members of the board constitute a quorum for regular Board meetings and one-third (1/3) of the members of the Board form a quorum for an emergency Board meeting.

There is also a Church Committee under a Local Church and this comprises of the Pastor and Members who are appointed by the Pastor pending the growth of the Church when there are qualified people to be elected as Deacons.
