Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba
Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba was born in Prestea on August 22, 1965. Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba, an ordained minister, has been in full-time ministry for thirty (30) years and has risen through the ranks from a Local Church Pastor to Sectional Evangelism Rep, Regional Youth director, District Secretary, District Pastor, and to Regional Superintendent from 2015 to 2022.
CREDENTIALS
Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba theologically obtained his Diploma at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) Northern Campus in 1992. He obtained his First Degree at West Africa Advance School of Theology, Lome-Togo in 2001. He holds two Masters’ degrees, that is, M.A. in Christian Ministry with Management from Christian Service College – Kumasi, and M.Th from Faith University Seminary USA-Ghana Campus. He currently holds a Doctorate Degree from Faith University Seminary, USA-Ghana Campus.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Ministerially, he is endowed with the power ministry of the Holy Spirit, an evangelist, and a church planter. He has mentored many people who are now ministers of the gospel, businessmen, and academicians.
HIS FAMILY
Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba is married with three children and his wife happens to be the National Women’s Ministry Director of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
CURRENT ROLES
- Rev. Dr. Simon Abu Baba currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) – Ahafo Region.
- He is the current Senior Pastor of Central Chapel Assembly of God, Mim– Ahafo.
- He is the current General Treasurer of Assemblies of God, Ghana
