The Foreign Missions Department is a Department that sends, supervises and runs the foreign mission programs of the Assemblies of God, Ghana. The Foreign Missions Department was birthed during the 29th Biennial General Council of the Assemblies of God, Ghana in Kumasi. Prior to this time, it operated as a Foreign Missions Committee under appointed able-leadership by the Executive Presbytery (EP) with the mandate to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations.
As a foreign missions department, God calls us to be His agent of change.

Sending 10 Missionaries
Sending 50 Tent Missionaries
As part of the mandate of the Department, “Project 5-10-50” is designed as a deliberate drive to raise 10 astute full-time missionaries and 50 able tent missionaries within 5 years to initiate church planting movement amongst the unreached people groups (UPGs).
The department envisages strategically reach 10 Islamic-dominated African countries within 5 years including Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Mali, and Sudan.
