Membership of the district consists of all Ordained Ministers, Licentiates and Exhorters, who hold valid fellowship certificates with the church. Others members include: all approved Tent Ministers or Lay Pastors, Student Pastors, Missionaries, recognized by the General Council and working in the district and all departmental representatives.
A voting delegate, a laity from each local church or group of churches who hold a letter from that local church or group of churches signed by the Pastor and the Church Secretary identifying him/her as the official delegate is also recognized as a member of The District. Members of the district meet four times in the year.
The district is responsible for evangelism, church planting and nurturing of churches as well as implementing policies formulated by the General Council and Regional Council. Members also make decisions and such decisions are in consonance with that of the General and Regional Councils.
The District Committee which comprises of the District Pastor, Secretary, Treasurer and the Regional Superintendent as an ex-officio member has general oversight responsibility over the activities of the District including the day-to-day administration of the District.
