The Youth of today face so many challenges and opportunities. There are socio-cultural, economic, and moral challenges that our young men and women face daily in the world. Nevertheless, there are also great opportunities that are offered to our young ones in these same areas of society. The world is languishing, it is crying for help, but no one and nothing can help the world. God has, therefore, chosen His church, and especially the youth, to help the world through evangelism and challenging Christian living. Hence, the church offers the youth, great opportunities, and challenges in all spheres of leadership in Assemblies of God, Ghana.

The Youth Ministry of the Assemblies of God, Ghana is known as “Christ Ambassadors”. They are young members of the Church between the ages of 13-35 years. The Youth meets at least once a week in our local Churches to promote the spiritual, physical, social, and emotional well-being of the members by providing opportunities for worship, fellowship, training, and evangelism. The Ministry has two main auxiliary groups; namely, the Teens, who are between the ages of 13-19 years, and the AGSU (Assemblies of God students union).

June is considered Youth month. Youth day usually falls on the second Sunday of this month. This is celebrated in all local Churches nationwide. The Youth organizes a series of programs from the beginning of the week to celebrate the special day. Youth camps are planned, organized, and held by the Regional Youth in August and September.
