The much-awaited Transformational Pastors and Leaders Conference was held on Friday 13th and 14th September 2024 at Cedar Mountain Chapel, East Legon in Accra. It was an event of the General Council of Assemblies of God Ghana and supported by the World Assemblies of God Fellowship.
In attendance were the General Treasurer of Kenya Assemblies of God, General Superintendent of Foursquare Gospel Church Int, and Arch Bishop of Lighthouse Chapel. About 2,000 Pastors and Church leaders were in attendance. Speakers included Rev. Dominic Yeo, Global Chairman of World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF), and also the General Superintendent of Singapore, Rev. Sek Ong, Chairman of Asia Pacific AG and General Superintendent of Malaysia Assemblies of God, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Mr. Fred Darko, CEO of Evolution and Rev. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana and Vice Chairman of Africa Assemblies of God Alliance.
Participants present were taken through a series of topics and impartation from our astute and seasoned speakers. Some of the topics treated included; Church Health, Harnessing Spiritual Gifts for Church Growth, Effective Church Branding for Growth, Pastors & Personal Grooming, How to Grow A Mega Church, and How To Reach the Gen Z.
Participants expressed their satisfaction with the conference and asked for more of such meetings to equip them for the kingdom business. This year’s transformational Pastors, spouses, and leaders meeting was the 2nd edition under the auspices of the General Superintendent and his supporting Executive Presbytery members.
