Assemblies of God, Ghana has donated relief items to affected victims of the Akosombo dam spillage. The presentation was done by the head of administration, Assemblies of God Ghana, Mrs Gifty Tweneboah Kodua on behalf of the General Superintendent, Rev. Dr Stephen Wengam.
Mrs Tweneboah Kodua encouraged the flood victims to keep holding on to their faith and see this as a temporal situation. The Volta South Regional Superintendent Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Dr. Stephen Sakyi received the items on behalf of the flood victims.
Rev. Sakyi expressed his profound gratitude to the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana for the gesture, saying, “The relief items came at the right time” and they are very grateful.
The items donated included bags of rice, sugar, bottles of oil, bags of sachet water, and many other items. Beneficiaries of the relief items also expressed their gratitude and attested to how far the relief items would help them alleviate their plight.
